After retiring from the USAF, he became a pilot and a pilot instructor with United Airlines. He finished his career as a 737 Captain based in Denver.
Bill spent his career doing the job he loved – flying. He also enjoyed skiing, traveling, attending art exhibitions and theatrical productions as well as spending time at his mountain cabin. He loved spending time with family, friends and his dogs. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor.
He was a member of the Our Lady of Loreto Knights of Columbus.
Survived by his wife, 2 sons, and his sister.
Bill was preceded in death by his father Fred, his mother Olive and his brother Sam.
