Larry Wayne Sanders, age 70 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on December 5, 2021. He was born in Guymon, Oklahoma, on January 9, 1951, to Norman Sanders and Elsie Riggs-Sanders. Larry's father worked for an oil company, which took the family across the border to South America, where Larry spent quite a bit of his childhood. As a young man, Larry heard his nation's call and proudly enlisted in the United States Army, serving as a Medic during the Vietnam War, and receiving an honorable discharge for services rendered to his country when called upon to do so. After leaving the Army, he was a 100% Disabled Veteran. He worked in the automotive industry, and until his retirement, Larry was a talented car salesman.

Larry enjoyed cars, loved driving fast, and as a salesman, enjoyed owning various vehicles over the years. He even had the opportunity to own his dream car, a 2016 Corvette Stingray. Larry lovingly raised his grandkids and enjoyed going to their softball games to support their teams. He loved to travel, and Larry took his family on several vacations across America. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and Larry will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Norman Sanders, his mom, Elsie Bottoms, a son, Tim Sanders, and one brother, Danny.
