Tonya Lee Ann (Nunn) Wilburn was born on April 3, 1975 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to David and Kathy (Hays) Nunn. She passed away on December 5, 2021 in McCurtain, Oklahoma at the age of 46.

Tonya was preceded in death by her father, David Nunn; her grandparents, Harvey and Rhoda Nunn, William Earl and Bertha Faye Hays; her uncles, Kenneth Nunn, Bob Nunn, Joe Nunn, Estel Hays, Kenny Hays, Gary Hays, Lonnie Hays; her aunts, Betty Wilburn, Marie Smith, Helen Hays; and two cousins, Eric Nunn and Brenda Worsham.
Tonya was loved by all who knew her. She always put others before herself. She continued her entire life to turn to God to get through and would want us all to do the same. Tonya would remind us to keep our head up and that the sun is just over the next mountain. Her beauty, her grace, and her kindness will leave a huge hole that will never be filled.
Viewing will be held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 8 and from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 9.
A Graveside Service will be held at Old Panther Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021 with Rev. Lillie Harris and Rev. Jack Sloan officiating. Interment under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
