Funeral services for Louise Parnell, age 83, of Sulphur Springs, will be held, at Murry-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 11, 2007. Rev. John Nesbitt will officiate.

Interment will follow services at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Mrs. Parnell's grandsons and great-grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2007, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Parnell passed away on Thursday evening, November 8, 2007, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Quinlan, on September 9, 1924, the daughter of Alex and Ollie McDaniel Watson. She married Earl Brown and he preceded her in death in 1954. She then married Buddy Parnell. He preceded her in death in 1995.

Mrs. Parnell was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include: three daughters, Glenda Burnett of Yantis, Cathy Colley of Quinlan, and Neena Boswell of Sulphur Springs; a son, Cletius Brown of Sulphur Springs; a sister, Marie Aguilar, of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, David Harrell of Warrior, Alabama, and Gerald Lee Harrell of New Jersey; grandchildren, Jeff Brown, Nicole Stewart, Debra Scarborough, Shelly Mims, Allison Brown, Todd Parnell, Crystal Sartin, Michael Burnett, Sammi Colley, Jill Brown, and Breann Brown; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheena Parnell; a son, Junior Brown; four brothers, Mack Watson, Howell Watson, Coleman Watson, and Junior Watson; and one sister, Gloria Mae Lucero.
