Michael was preceded in death by his parents Billie and Marguerite Barron.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Linda Barron; daughter Amy Dixon and husband Jason Dixon of Lindale; son Ray Barron and wife Cherrie Barron of Lindale; 4 grandchildren, Colton Barron and wife Holli Barron, Julianne Miller and husband Brandon Miller, Ally Dixon and Logan Dixon: Great grandchild Emberly Barron and 2 more on the way; brothers Jim Barron and wife Julia Barron on Longview, Ricky Barron and wife Sheri Barron of Tyler and Kelly Barron and wife Yolanda Barron of Longview and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Michael was a member and former Elder of Crossbrand Cowboy Church in Tyler, Texas.
He served 6 years Honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam Era
To his family he never wavered in his commitment to the Lord and his family. He was a man of his word ,loved and served those around him and lived his life with integrity loving his family and serving Christ.
A memorial service will be held at Crossbrand Cowboy Church on June 17, 2021 at 6:00pm.
