FATAL MORNING ACCIDENT
Geneva Jo Hale, 20, R.R.1, Horton, died from injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident at 2:15 am. Wednesday April 15. The accident occurred seven miles west and 1/2 mile north of Horton on the Kickapoo Reservation. Hale was dead on arrival at the Horton Community Hospital.
She was born May 14, 1966, at Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Leslie and Lucinda Oliver Hale. She lived in the Horton area all of her life. She worked for the Kickapoo Bingo group.
She is survied by her father, Leslie "Chick" Hale, Horton; her mother, Lucinda Thomas, Horton; a daughter, Sheena Ross, Horton; tow brothers, Kenny Thomas, Horton, Elwynn Thomas, Horton; five sisters, Sherry Hale, Edwina Thomas, Lisa Thomas, Corinna Hale and Voneen Hale, all of Horton.
Wake services will begin at 5 pm Friday, April 17, at the old Kickapoo Community Building. Burial will be Saturday April 18, at 2 pm at the Kennekuk Indian Cemetery on the reservation.
