Jessica's family, friends, and her faith were her world. She was a phenomenal wife and mother that loved her children passionately. She taught them what it meant to love and to be loved. Through her example she showed them how to walk the path of righteousness and the importance of hard work and helping others.
To her husband she was his best friend, his confidante, his partner in crime, and his lover. In their 16 years together she became 51% of everything he was. It was in her love and devotion and through her patience, kindness, and stalwart common sense that he learned what it meant to be a husband and father.
She was preceded in death by her father, John M. May; and her grandmother, Marion May.
Jessica is survived by her husband, Ryan Jacob Brooks; her daughters, Aleigha Faith Brooks and Ryleigh Hope Brooks; her son, Jacob Ryan Brooks; her mother, Lisa May (Mike Hicks); her brother, John E. May (Carrie); her mother-in-law, Ginger Brooks; her aunt, Susan Sledgister; and a host of other family members and friends.
The funeral services will be held in First Assembly of God, 160 Clemmer Rd, Rockingham, NC 28379. The burial services will be held at Brooks-Kennedy Family Cemetery, 4554 Lightwood Rd, Bennettsvill, SC 29512.
