Born in Mountain View, Ca to later live the rest of his life in San Jose, Ca. Jake Hurd was a truly selfless man. Jake leaves behind his son, Charles, his Father and Mother, Steve and Deanna, and his Brother, Lukas as well as his extended family in Illinois, Missouri, and Georgia. He was a loving father, very much loved by his family, friends. and co-workers. Jake was a kind, caring soul but never wanted to show his soft side to most. He loved everyone and treated everyone as his friend and was relentless in reaching out to anyone who needed help or just a friend, with no regard to himself. Jake was loyal and as good as they come, a hard worker that worked even harder to be a father to his child Charles.. In his hardest times he somehow always pushed it aside to help others in their time of need. Jake was truly one of a kind with a heart of gold.
