Mr. Lincecum was a licensed general contractor. As a member of the Louisiana Home Builders Association for the last 15 years, he earned many safety awards. He was an avid antique car collector. He was a member of Bentley United Pentecostal Church. He served as co-captain of the annual fund-raising event for the building fund and served as co-captain for the senior church members group.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Dee Lincecum and Ethel Gertrude Nugent Lincecum; and one brother, Perry Lincecum.
He was survived by his wife, Carolyn Albert Lincecum of Prospect; six children, Tyler Lincecum of Prospect, Dennis Lincecum of Alexandria, Penny Dickey of Georgetown, Kimberly Marler of Lake Charles, Kevin Gibson of Prospect and Kelton Gibson of Nashville, TN; one brother, Leon Lincecum of Georgetown; four sisters, Estelle Alwhite, Deloise Whidden and Maxine Hatten, all of Georgetown, and Laverne McNaughton of Olla; and 10 grandchildren.
