Eileen Smith, 86, of Macon, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.
The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. A private graveside service will be held at Macon Memorial Park. Mrs. Smith was born in Piedmont, Tennessee on February 15, 1935. She retired from Robins Air Force Base as an administrative clerk. She was a dedicated homemaker, seamstress, and cook.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cecil Smith; granddaughter, Blair Chamblee; and mother, Billie Carolyn Goforth.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Terri Ramsey (John), of Macon, Felicia Warren (Tom), of Macon, and Leslie DuBose (George), of King, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Jennifer Austin (Brad), Lauren Thomas (Zach), Brooke Chamblee, all of Macon, Dustin DuBose (Jennifer), of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Jared DuBose, of Atlanta, Georgia; and 11 great grandchildren, Hunter Austin, Cameron Sheffield, Chandler Sheffield, Cason Sheffield, Abbie Thomas, Alex Thomas, Cohen Ryals, Aubrey DuBose, Kent DuBose, Lincoln DuBose, and Zachariah DuBose.
