Stacey Lee Garcia
April 13, 1968 - December 2, 2021

Stacey Lee Garcia, 53 of Visalia, California, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Visalia, California. Stacey was born to Harold Lee Smith and Carole Elaine Smith on April 13, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada. When she was young her family moved to Dinuba, California. It is there that she went to school and eventually met the man she was to marry. Mitchell and Stacey were high school sweethearts and were by each other's side through Dinuba High, college, careers, and kids. He was also at her side when she passed, along with her daughters.
Stacey had a long, successful career as a medical assistant in both the Dental and Dermatology fields. She was best known for her people skills, and treated all of her patients like family. She always encouraged friends to fight their illnesses, as her nature was always selfless care for others first, no matter how she herself was feeling.
Stacy was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother, providing us with many wonderful memories we will all cherish for the rest of our lives. She always enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, never missing a softball game or school performance.
Her favorite place to be was at the coast on the beach. She enjoyed smelling the clean air, feeling the breeze, and hearing the beautiful sounds of the ocean waves. Stacey also loved to cook, as was evident in her always making any event better with her culinary skills. She was known for bringing delicious dishes to every family gathering, and nobody could compare, especially when it came to her baked potato recipe, or cheesecakes. She also loved heavy rock music and attended many concerts with Mitchell.
Her legacy will be founded in her actions displaying love and empathy towards others, and her desire to help in any situation. Her patience, compassion, and kind, loving heart were always visible to those who knew her, along with her subtle, good-natured sense of humor. Stacey is survived by her husband, Mitchell Garcia, her daughters Ashlee & Kimberlee Garcia and her grandchildren, Josiah & Aubree Garcia, along with her brother Kevin. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Kim, and nephews Michael and Preston.
