David Norris Sullivan, 77, of Mt. Washington, returned to his heavenly home on December 5, 2021 with his family by his side. David was born November 10, 1944 in Green County, Ky. to Isaac and Elizabeth Sullivan. He was a United States Army and Army Reserve Veteran with 32 years of service where he attained the rank of Division Command Sergeant Major with the 100th Division. He also served in Desert Storm and the Gulf War Campaign. He was a member and past master of Salt River Masonic Lodge #180 F and AM, the Association of the Century, and the First Baptist Church Mount Washington. David was known around town for his expertise in small engine and mower repair and service. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher David Sexton. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Vivian Jones Sullivan; one son, Russell Sullivan; two daughters, Kristi Morris and Susan Sexton (Phillip); two brothers, Keith (Tammy) and Randy (Cheryl) Sullivan; two sisters, Connie Campbell and Ruth Ann Heath; along with six grandchildren, Kaylee and Allyson Morris, Makailyn and Logan Sullivan, and Evan and Lauren Sexton. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church Mount Washington, Coakley Chapel, with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
