Gladys Fae Walker 77 of Burghill, OH, passed away Nov. 2, 2021, at Sharon Regional Medical Center in Sharon, Pennsylvania.

One of 10 children, Gladys was born Nov. 5, 1943, to Hoyt Blackburn Snyder and Gatha Mae Gandee in Gandeeville, WV.

She graduated from Walton High School Class of 1961 and after receiving her degree from Mountain State College in Parkersburg, WV she started her career working for Johns Manville in Vienna, WV.

She was married October 27, 1963, in SC to Franklin Morgan Walker who preceded her in death May 18, 2008. They were married for 44 years.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family. She was a long-time member of the Hartford Community Church where she served as Secretary, Sunday School Teacher, Deaconess and Preschool Treasurer.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers: Cora Elizabeth Snyder, Earl (Thelma) L. Snyder, Ernest Harold Snyder, William Gilbert Snyder and Mary (Rodney) L. Ray-Cogar. She is survived by three sisters and one brother: Freda (Russ) M. Hunt of Parkersburg, WV, Dorothy (Roy) E. Davis of Saint Albans, WV, Harry (Joann) B. Snyder of Washington, WV, and Janet (Michael) S. Holden of Marietta, OH.

She was also preceded in death by one grandchild: Joshua Franklin Walker.
