George Edgar Carey died, following the amputation of his left leg, at the age of 20 years.
He was a day watchman at the fire department headquarters and on November 9, he was accidentally shot, that turned fatal, while driving near Valencia, Kansas. The mishap bullet passed through the fleshly part of Cary's leg, and lacerated his left hand.
