After moving to Utah, she worked at Gibson Carpet Gallery. She then owned and ran Power Hobbies. She loved Christmas and loved wearing the beautiful turquoise jewelry that her father made for her.
April and her dog Teva, have been living with her parents since her illness began in 2004. She is survived by her parents, her two brothers; Gerry G. (Janice) Gibson and Garret G. (Patty) Gibson, five nephewes and two nieces.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Sept 29, 2007 at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
