John was born on May 19, 2021 in Orange County to David John Stephens and Emily Meyers Stephens.
Dearly loved by his family, John had an infectious smile and an energetic love for life. He loved trees, kisses, and cuddles. Most of all, he loved people, especially his sister, Ivy. He enjoyed playing with and babbling to those around him. Though he is greatly missed, his joy is now complete in the arms of Jesus.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Ivy Stephens; maternal grandparents, Steve and Marcia Meyers; paternal grandparents, Tim and Alison Stephens; maternal great-grandparents, Irene Meyers and David and Carol Wheatley; paternal great-grandparents John and Jayne Dodd; and numerous other family members.
A family graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Magnolia Cemetery in Elon.
