Phillip C. "Jake" Jacobs, age 71, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Sunday, March 5, 1950, in Waynesburg, he was the son of the late Jesse Jacobs and the late Lucy Sparkman Jacobs. His loving wife, whom he married Monday, February 11, 1985, is Yvondia Walls Jacobs of Waynesburg. Phillip was self-employed and was known for being a "jack of all trades". Phillip enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and car racing.

In addition to his wife, Phillip leaves behind three daughters, Leanne Jacobs of Waynesburg, Julie, and Becky; several grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Jacobs (Sara) and Jesse Tucker Jacobs (Jacqueline) both of Waynesburg; five sisters, Barbara Jean Smiley (Kenneth) of Cerulean, Kentucky, Juanita Cornett (Carl) of Brooksville, Florida; Marlene Dijkstra (Hessel) of Maricopa, Arizona, Wanda McGhee (David) of Cadiz, Kentucky, and Martha Estes (Paul) of Kings Mountain, Kentucky; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by one brother, Malcom Jacobs.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will begin at 1:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Bro. Vola Brown will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home's Facebook page.

Burial will follow in KP Hall Cemetery in Kings Mountain.
