Bicknell, Utah- Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and neighbor passed away peacefully in his home Monday November 29, 2021 at the age of 82. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Gary was born May 31st, 1939 to William Wright and Clara Morris in Wildomar, California. Gary attended high school in Wildomar. He went on to serve his country by joining the United States Army.
Gary married Margaret Ray January 25, 1989 in San Pedro, California. Gary worked as a Longshoreman while continuing to live in California. He and Marge later retired and moved to Bicknell in 1992. Marge passed away November 23, 2020.
Gary loved the outdoors, particularly fishing with his beloved wife and hunting with his friend John. He was known to be a great mechanic and will truly be missed by many.
Gary is survived by his daughter and son in law Bonnie and Clint Lamon of Fort Mohave, AZ; grandsons, Luke and Justin (Jenny) of California; a granddaughter, Amber of California; great-grandsons Evan and Owen of California; and friends John Torgerson and Phillip Taylor of Bicknell.
At his request, his remains have been cremated and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
