Beverly Ann Cook passed away on Nov. 30, 2021 in Springfield, Missouri, where she lived with her sister, Sylvia, for the last years. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Willie Nelly Cook.

She was originally from Choctaw County, Mississippi but then moved in 1973 to care for her Aunt Nina and Uncle AG in Dallas, Texas. She made it her home for thirty-six years. While there she "adopted" a daughter, Julie Hernandez, and her daughter, Julie. She then returned home to Eupora, Mississippi. She was a member of the LaGrange Methodist Church. She enjoyed music and loved to sing. But most of all she loved her family and was a devoted friend. She will be laid to rest at LaGrange Cemetary alongside her beloved family members. She is a light that will leave this world a little darker.

The second youngest of ten children, she is preceded in death by both parents; nine siblings, Ossino, Billie, Harvey, Thomas, Joseph, John, Mary Catherine, Phyllis; and two nephews, Donald and Jeff Box.

She is survived by her adopted daughter Julie Hernandez, and granddaughter Taylor Hernandez. Her sister and brother-in-law Sylvia and Larry Roy; sister-in-law, Elise Cook; nieces and nephews, David Roy, Jeremy Roy, Megan (Roy)Cox, Heather Roy, Tanya Shae Neighbors, Christopher Cook, Jeremy Cook, Harvey Cook, Josh Cook, Angela (Cook)Dobbins, Jimmie Box, Kathy Box, Thomas Cook, Timothy Cook, Karen Thompson, Joseph Cook, David Cook, Lisa Morelan, Tammy Whalen, Robbie Wilson- Berryhill, their spouses and many children.
