Lester C. Lockhart, 78, of Lancaster passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on June 3, 1943 in Lancaster to the late Emril and Ora (Ball) Lockhart. Les served in the US Army during Vietnam. He worked at Rayovac, Anchor Hocking and he retired from the Lakeland, Florida School District. Les was an active member of Faith Memorial Church, he was an excellent cook, who enjoyed family gatherings and especially taking his wife out to dinner. Les was always avaible to anyone needing help. He also was an avid football fan especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and liked going fishing.

Les is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step son-in-law John Zvada.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00PM on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Sheridan Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with military honors. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.
