Henry J. Pruitt passed away peacefully in his home at Strafford Missouri on December 1, 2021. Surrounded by his loving wife, children and loved ones. Born on March 3,1935 to his parents William Henry Pruitt and Virginia (Sledge) Pruitt.Henry was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Virginia Pruitt, his sister Betty Ruth Caraway, uncle Walter Pruitt, brother in law Ervin Caraway, his nephew Ervin (Buddy) Caraway, and his great grandson Owen Deckard.

Henry was born and raised in the great state of Texas. Proud to be a Texan, he moved several times as a child, calling many towns his home. Joining the Air Force in 1953 he was then stationed in Fordland Mo., There he met and married the Love of his Life, Phyllis Hubbard. Henry was stationed in Arkansas, Korea, Alaska, and Oregon throughout his service. Working as an Air Traffic Controller (Radar), Henry watched over our borders making sure they where secure. After 10 years in the Military he was honorably discharged in 1962 and moved his family back to Kansas City Mo. There he worked at the American Royal as a Payroll and Operations Manager. Then moving back to Fair Grove Mo., he worked at Kraft Foods in Transportation and Dispatch until retirement in 1990. Henry had a wonderful sense of humor as everyone who loved him knew. And never lost it even in his illness.

As a little boy Henry was drawn to the Lord and walked himself to the local churches on Sundays. As a young man with a family he dedicated his life to the Lord. Henry was a man who represented the Love of Jesus with everything he did. He always had Faith to help anyone who needed it. Serving the Lord even in his final days, making sure everyone that came to help or visit, knew his Love of Jesus and the Love that Jesus had for them. Even in sickness Gods Love shined brighter. He knew when Praise goes up, Blessings come down. Henry Pruitt told us that the only things you could take with you when you passed were the things you gave away spiritually. We are so Blessed as his family and loved ones to know that he took away with him all the Faith and Love he gave away so freely to anyone who needed it. And that the Promises of God are fulfilled in him when the last breath he took went back to the ONE that give it.
