James Eugene "Jim" Chapman, was born to Henry "Chappy" and Jean Chapman of Tolleson, Maricopa County, Arizona on 3 Aug 1959.

He is survived by his fiancee Sarelda Heath, his sister Carol Chapman Stewart of Tolleson AZ, his brother Richard Chapman of Plainsville, IL, his son Alek and 2 grand children and one on the way.

Jim graduated from Tolleson Union High School where he played Football and was the top photographer for the school. After High School he attended college and held various jobs in computer design for Boeing, Perot (Ferrari) and various other companies.

His hobbies kept him busy with photography, slotcars racing, building slotcars, building race tracks, 3D printing, his 56 Gasser race car, Falcon Ranchero race car, and his Lake Modified to name a few.

Jim passed away in Johnston City, Williamson County, Illinois on 16 Nov 2021, and as he requested was cremated.

Jim loved life and entertained all who met him, but he always made time for his fiancee the love of his life who he fell in love with when they dated in high school and finally got back together. Jim you will be missed by all who knew you.
