Margaret Bell Sutherland, 95, widow of John Frederick Sutherland, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at her residence.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late G. Walter and Mattie James Bell. She worked for Dr. Claude Breedin at St. Mary's Hospital in Anderson. Mrs. Sutherland was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as a receptionist for a number of years.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, at First Presbyterian Church. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the reception center of the church. A private burial will be held at Old Silver Brook Cemetery.
