Patricia "June" Land McClelland, 98, passed away peacefully at her home in Henderson, NV, on Friday November 19, 2021. She was born June 5, 1923, in Wichita, KS, to Lester Land and Lillian Raida Land.
She is survived by four daughters, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandsons; one brother; three sisters-in-law; plus, many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Cunningham 'Jack' McClelland in 2002; her parents; two sisters Wanda Smith and Gloria Deane Long; two brothers; Wendell Land and Keith Land.
June served in WWII as a Navy nurse. She met and married Jack, also in the Navy, in Oakland, CA. They returned to PA to raise a family. June was a nurse at Grove City Hospital for many years then at Grove Manor and Orchard Manor. She was an active member of the North Liberty Presbyterian Church and in the community. She loved growing a garden and flower beds, baking pies, traveling, and bowling.
Memorial services will be scheduled for a later date through Cunningham Funeral Home, Grove City, PA.
