Lena was a member of First Baptist Church in Malvern. She enjoyed gardening, going to church, and spending time with her family.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James William Rose, four sisters, and four brothers.
Survivors, son, James "Mitch" Rose (Janice) of White Hall; brother, Kenneth Tugwell (Sharon) of Conway; Janie Culpepper (Jack) of Pine Bluff; grandson, James S. Rose of Memphis and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 7 at 2:00 pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Billy Bartlett officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Carlisle Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church-Building Fund, 531 S Main St, Malvern, AR 72104.
