Gregory Joseph Marks, age 68 of El Paso, died unexpectedly November 29th 2021 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Greg was born on July 29, 1953 in Red Wing, Minnesota; the son of William and Shirley (Johnson) Marks. He graduated from Ellsworth High School class of '71. He took pride in working on the family farm most of his life but also worked in construction. Greg loved helping his son, Jason out at Broz Bar. He enjoyed visiting with people, playing cards and making his daily routine stops in the community.

Greg's greatest love was his family. He was so proud of his boys and absolutely adored his grandchildren. He loved taking them on 4-wheeler rides or to Bingo night at Broz Bar. He loved anything that moved fast and had a motor. He enjoyed pulling farm tractors and mini rods. He always looked forward to a beautiful day on his Harley or 4-wheeler with his loving girlfriend, Pam. Greg and Pam also enjoyed daily games of Yahtzee.

Greg will remain in the hearts of his sons Jessy (Angie) Marks of Ellsworth, Jason (Polly) Marks of Ellsworth, James Huppert of Chetek; grandchildren Mackenzie, Lexi, Aubrey, Cash, Maggie; his best friend and girlfriend Pam Hines; siblings Sheila Wick of Lakeville, MN, Sony (Kenny) Zeien of Hastings, Kirk (Nicole) Gilbertson of Woodbury, Wade Gilbertson of St. Paul, as well as his nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Greg is preceded in death by his parents, sister Kristi Brent, and brother-in-law Bob Wick.

A visitation for Greg Marks will be Saturday, December 4th from 11am to 2pm at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Ellsworth. A prayer service will be held at 2pm. A celebration of Greg's life will immediately follow at Broz Bar in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. Interment will be held at a later date.
