Jenny was a long-time member of the Stella Maris Church parish and the Catholic Women's League. She worked at CentraCare for 30 years where she made many friends. Jenny went back to school later in life and was very proud of achieving her RNA in 1981. She retired in 1995. Jenny spent many happy hours quilting and crafting with friends and a highlight of her retirement was a trip to Europe with several dear friends. She made legendary meat pies and will be remembered for her generosity. Family and friends were the most important things in the world to her. She loved to tell stories and she loved to laugh. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her son, Donald Melanson (Karen Anderson) of Prince George, BC; two grandchildren, Jonathan (Ashleigh Belliveau) and Justin Johnston (Kara); and great grandsons Benjamin, Lucas, Kaisen and Keegan; brother Jim Glode (Patricia) of Saint John, NB; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the love of her life, Don Melanson, sister Dale Glode, brother Stan Harding and her great grandson Oliver.
