In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alda Woodard.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Wanda Jean (Morris) Brown; son, Curtis Ray Brown of New Mexico; siblings, Shirley Minton of Henderson, Carolyn Nichols of Henderson, William Lucky Brown of Henderson, and Bobby Brown of Central City, Ky.; four grandchildren, Tori Wolfe, Caitlin McGiness, Christian Brown, and Jon Brown; and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 6 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Bro. Gary Burks officiating. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is entrusted with arrangements.
