Anita Louise (Russell) Allen Perry, 84, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Anita was born on June 3, 1937 in Holdenville, OK to Joseph and Gladys Russell.
At a young age, Anita was always driven and ambitious. She graduated first in her senior class in 1954 from Atoka High School, where she was the school's president until she moved to Alaska to be with her husband, Bobby Lee Allen. After graduation, Anita continued her love for education and started her professional career as the first female superintendent of Sunday school at Windsor Hills Baptist Church. In her later years, she also held the role of the Social Activities Director at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Checotah, OK for 18 years. Anita was so well loved and respected by her residents and their families that she was often stopped in public by their loved ones or former residents to reminisce.

Anita was a lover of music from the big band era, but really enjoyed all genres. You could often find Anita doing arts and crafts, decorating, and for her passion of everything Christmas! She was a woman of perseverance, endurance, respect for others, and was always a peacemaker and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Her biggest passion of all was her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren always made her laugh. After she and Bobby were wed, their family grew from two to five with the birth of their daughters, Deborah, Vikey, and Kimberly. She and Bobby were married for 23 years then divorced. She met Glen Hugh Perry and the two were wed in 1976. They spent 36 years together before his untimely passing in 2012.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glen Perry of Oklahoma City, OK; great grandchild, Gavin Long; and niece, Tammy (Russell) Cannon.

Anita is survived by daughters Deborah Kaye (Allen) Kincaid and spouse Jerry of North Fort Myers, FL, Vikey Lynn (Allen) Day and spouse Billy Wayne of North Fort Myers, FL, and Kimberly Ann (Allen) Kidd Juhlin and spouse Carla Dee of Watonga, OK; brother, Glen DeWayne Russell and spouse Norma. She also leaves behind grandchildren Timi Kincaid, Kellen Kincaid, Alissa (Day) Kmatz, Erica (Morgan Kidd) Long, and Aaron Kidd; great grandchildren, Wyatt Kmatz, Isaac Long, Ryker Long, Dominic Long, Boston Long, and Stella Kidd; niece, Tracey (Russell) Haggard; and fur babies, Domino and John Boy to cherish her memory.
