Born in Fakenhan Norfork England, immigrated into the U.S. October 1955 and married an Airman. She had three children, Margret Ann Cumbie Dionne, David Joseph (deceased), Jonathan James Cumbie-Long. She was widowed August 1959. She married Henry P. Kirchgestner (U.S. Army) in Colorado Springs February 1961. They had four children JoAnn Rose Stewart, Lamar, MO, Henry Peter, Colorado Springs, Joey Philip, Kingman, AZ, Robert Allen (deceased). Grandchildren: Shawn, Kalen, Terri, Crystal, Joel, William, Hannah, and Cody. Great Grandchild, Jack. She traveled the world until August 1972 when she settled in Colorado Springs, CO with her husband and children. Ann was an avid reader, loved to travel to see new places, always wanted to be on the beach and play in the ocean. She was a beautiful wife, wonderful mother, and best friend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice, 825 E. Pikes Peak Ave. Colorado Springs, CO, Memorial Childrens Hospital or Care and Share, Colorado Springs, CO. Visitation Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 9-10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Shrine of Remembrance. Interment 4 days later, family only, in Calhan, Colorado.
