Patricia Jean "Jeanie" Parsons, 74, died Thursday, December 2, 2021 at her home. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Dumas with Pastor Damon Akins officiating. Burial will follow at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Jeanie was born January 16, 1947 in Matador, TX to Virgil Ennis Taylor and Lola Beatrice Morris Taylor. She lived her lifetime in Dumas and worked in the cafeterias for Dumas Independent School District and several other endeavors in Dumas. She loved her family, cooking and her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Hank Walker, her five sisters Sis, Mary, Sally, Loretta and Kathy and her four brothers Junior, John, Doyle and Jackie.

Jeanie is survived by her two daughters Tammy Daugherty and her husband Jeff of Fouke, AR and Carrie Noble and her husband Mark of Panhandle, her six grandchildren Jennifer Buse, B. J. Fisk, Michael Powell, Hunter Daugherty, Kayla Bailey and Matt Henderson, her thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Casket bearers will be Matt Henderson, B. J. Fisk, Michael Powell, Jaxxen Bichsel, Carson Buse and Tyson Buse.

Family will greet guests at the church beginning at 10:00 Monday.
