Nancy A. Ludwig, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 7, 1947 to Walter and Antoinette (Aichner) Michals in Milwaukee.

Nancy graduated from UW Whitewater, with a degree in Elementary Education, and went on to receive her Master's Degree in Elementary Guidance and Counselling. With that background, she touched so many young children in such a positive way. She wanted to make sure they had the emotional and educational tools that would give them the groundwork for life. There wasn't a cat Nancy didn't feed, her birds were fed gourmet bird food, she saved the spiders…. She was a rescuer of animals and allowed nature to guide her spirit. She was a terrific baker, and always thought of others.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Jeff; her siblings, Pam Michals, Gail Schneider, Lynn (Frank) Michals-Augur, Steven (Judy) Michals; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jill Michals, Terry (Maryanne) Ludwig, Judy Vonhofmann, Jeanne Kolb, and Dan Ludwig; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Roger Michals, Bruce Michals and Teresa Michals; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Mary Ludwig.

A private burial will be held at Summit Cemetery.
