Born July 17, 1924 in Sharpsburg, he was the son of the late William J. Wagner and Clara Kessler Wagner.
Clarence was a US Army veteran, serving in WWII. He worked in electrical maintenance for Westinghouse Electric and was a member of the IBEW. Clarence was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg. Clarence enjoyed gardening and hunting.
Surviving are his children, Carol (Kenneth) Walzer, Judith Sokolowski and Robert (Jodi) Wagner, daughter-in-law, Alice Scott Wagner, a sister, Martha Strohm, grandchildren; Kenneth Walzer, Karen (Jason) Hendershott, Kevin (Jennifer) Walzer, Donald Sokolowski, Brian Sokolowski, Kimberly Sokolowski, Scott Wagner, Alexander (Nicole) Wagner, Bobbi Lynn (Joseph) Beck, and Benjamin Wagner, 16 great grandchildren, and numerous and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Edwards Wagner, best friend and companion, Evelyn F. Tusing, sons, Daniel Edward Wagner and Thomas William Wagner and seven siblings, Laura (John) Reibert, Gertrude (Edward) Newcamp, Regina (Richard) Stivers, Helen (Albert) Dietrich, Mildred (Clarence) Dietrich, Walter (Santina) Wagner, and Gerald (Katherine) Wagner and a son-in-law, Robert Sokolowski.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
