Mitchell Ryan Cox, 63, of Milledgeville, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at home.
Mitchell was born on July 20, 1958, in Sterling, the son of Garian and Berta (Dunham) Cox.
He worked at Prairie State Enterprises for many years. Mitch enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on projects and collecting odds and ends.
Survivors include his mother, Berta; three brothers, Michael Cox, Monte (Debbie) Cox and Matthew (Maggie) Cox and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garian; one sister, Michelle Kinger; and one niece, Tessa Cox.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the Milledgeville Brethren Church, 521 N Main, Milledgeville, IL. Memorial service will follow at the church at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Dr. Jim Black officiating. Burial will conclude at Dutchtown Cemetery in Milledgeville.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established in his memory.
