Frank C. White, of Ozona, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on 28 November 2021.
He was born on 2 April 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to Lucille F. von Weise White and W. Frank White of San Angelo, Texas.
Frank graduated from Wentworth Military Academy in 1954. He attended the University of Texas and graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 1959.
He married Helen Marie Elder whom remained faithfully by his side until her passing in 2012.
After graduation he was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the Army Military Police Corps where he served until retiring in 1979 as Lieutenant Colonel. During his military career, he served in Korea, Vietnam, and Europe.
Also during that time he and Helen had two daughters, Laura Anne White and Susan Michelle White.
He joined the Ozona National Bank in 1981 as an officer and member of the Board of Directors. Retiring in 2000, he continued to serve on the Board of Directors until 2021.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and is survived by his daughters Laura Anne White of Houston, Texas and Susan Michelle McNeill, granddaughters Valerie Faye McNeill and Audrey Elizabeth McNeill, all of New Market, Maryland.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, 11 December 2021 at 1:00 pm at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ozona, Texas with Pastor Leigh Lloyd presiding.
Arrangements are under the care of Johnson's Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation in Frank's name to Wounded Warrior Project.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Dr. Eng. Manfred Mack, Cal Sugg, Col. (Ret.) Dennis Behrens, Buck Bloodworth, and Werner Hamma.
