Phillip Jerome Jenkins, 73, of Kings Court, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at his home. Born May 11, 1948 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Ruby Pace Jenkins and William Benjamin Jenkins. Phillip was a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Clayton Homes where he worked as a plumber and was a member of Harriett Baptist Church.

A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 2:00PM at Sunset Gardens by Rev. Jake Roberson.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Betty "Joan" Johnson of the home; five daughters, Kimberly J. Thompson (Mitch), Angel N. Jenkins, Amy J. Riggan, Jena R. Riggan, all of Henderson, and Lee A. Thompson (David) of Macon; three sons, William Phillip "Billy" Jenkins (Meghan) and Vance "Van" G. Grissom, Jr. (Paulette), both of Henderson, and King Edward Adcox (Nicole) of Youngsville; a sister, Yvonne J. Faulkner (Charles) of Alert; 20 grandchildren, Jackson T., Jarrett, William, Elizabeth, Hayden, Caroline, Jackson L., Jameson, Brittney, Destinee, Jahnee, Sara, Justin P., Abby, Morganne, Logan, Justin A., Joshua, Jacob and Kristina; and two great grandchildren, JaMarcus, Jr. and Hunter.

The family will receive friends following the service at Sunset and at other times at the home
