Miss Annie Catherine Bruchey, 88, who resided at 5710 Korrell Lane , Frederick; died on Monday May 29, 1995 at her home. She was born in Frederick County on September 30, 1906, and was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Carrie May McKinney Bruchey. Miss Bruchey was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Frederick. At the time of her death, surviving were two sisters Mary E. Barnes of Mount Pleasant and Frances Spurrier of Libertytown, two brothers Charles D. Bruchey of Keymar and Ira C. Bruchey of Libertytown and several nieces and nephews. Miss Bruchey was preceded in death by one sister Carrie Stitely and by four brothers Clarence E. Bruchey, George T. Bruchey Sr., John M. Bruchey and Robert E. Bruchey. Funeral services were held on Thursday June 1, 1995 at 3pm at the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home. The Rev. W. Phillip Fogarty, Pastor of Evangelical Lutheran Church officiated. Pallbearers were Gerald W. Bruchey, Charles E. Bruchey, Wayne E. Bruchey, Robert E. Bruchey Jr., Marlin L. Spurrier and Dennis E. Deatherage. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick Md.
