James "J.W." William Hensley, age 93, of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Center in Paducah.

James was born on April 7, 1928 to the late Renzo and Ethel Farris Hensley. James served his country in the Navy during the 1940's. He was a Maintenance Supervisor at the Princeton Hosiery Mill. James was an outdoorsman. He was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed duck and deer hunting. In addition to the outdoors, James enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and U.K. Wildcats. James was a member of Bainbridge Grove Baptist Church.

James is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Hale Hensley; one daughter, Judy Sherill of Princeton; one son Larry Hensley and wife Brenda of Princeton; one grandson, Ryan Hensley; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his grandson,William Joseph Hensley; son-in-law, Jeffrey Lee Sherill; two sisters, Betty O'Donnell and Sue Hale; two brothers, Virgil Hensley and Jerry Hensley.

Visitation for James Hensley will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at Morgan's Funeral Home with Bro. Ryan Scott officiating.
