James "Jim" Peter Logan passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Jim was born in Niagara Falls, New York on October 3, 1935. He graduated from the University of Buffalo (B.S., Industrial Engineering) and served his country in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge. He later made Chattanooga his home, raising two children here, while working as the controller for Chattanooga Glass Company. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, served on the church council, and sang in the church choir. He loved country music, golf, Waffle House breakfasts, a good joke, his children, and his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his sister: Jean Faruga (Pete) of Grand Island, New York; three children: Pamela Gaither (Bob) of Vienna, VA, Andrew Logan (Nicole) of Johns Creek, GA, Scott Logan of Chattanooga; and five grandchildren: Ashlyn Wray-Schlatter (Patrick, children Allayah and Arlo) of Vienna, Virginia; Madeline Logan of Chattanooga, Andrew Logan of Charlotte, North Carolina, Olivia Logan of Nashville, Tennessee, and Lydia Grace Logan of Johns Creek, Georgia.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Christina Logan of Niagara Falls, New York.

A memorial service for extended family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Jim's memory by making a donation to Summit View Assisted Living in Red Bank.
