CROSS HILL– A memorial service for Ronald Clark Jacobs, 78, will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at Lugoff Church Of God, officiated by Rev. Tim Shirley, Rev. Stuart Jacobs, and Rev. Mac Gilliam. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00am. Burial will be private.

Mr. Jacobs, husband of Kathy Holsonback Jacobs, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Alonzo and Bertha LeGrand Jacobs. Ronnie was a skilled carpenter and builder who left his fingerprints throughout Kershaw County with the homes he built. He was always soft-hearted and compassionate and will be deeply missed by those that had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his wife, Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Lisa Benson (Tim); son, Matthew Hollingsworth (Cameo); granddaughter, Abbey Benson; grandson, Nelson Hollingsworth; great-granddaughter, Skylynn Benson; and siblings, Jewel Easler of Hendersonville, N.C., Harris Jacobs of Columbia, Patsy Campbell of Columbia, and Emily Benton (Bruce) of Monroe, N.C.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his siblings, Heyward Jacobs, Junior Jacobs, and Thera Delk.
