James Logan James Dies at Lexington Tuesday
John Logan James, 70, of Anderson community, died Tuesday night at 7 o'clock at his home following a stroke of paralysis which occurred about 6 o'clock.
Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Baptist church at Anderson with Bro. Taylor Lemay officiating. Interment followed in the cemetery there with Spry in charge.
Surviving are seven daughters: Mrs. Hattie Newton, Lexington; Mrs. Bessie Percy, Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; Mrs. Ruth McLemore and Mrs. Norma Jackson of Anderson; Mrs. Altha Collier, Mrs. Esther Lambert, and Miss Violet James of Cullman; and three sons, Alex James and Oren James of Cullman, and Willie F. James of Anderson.
