Bluford was a retired floor manager for Independent Container and he enjoyed truck pulls, tractor pulls and car shows.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Stella Chesser, Nettie Reynolds, Mable McAllister and 3 brothers, Ancil, James and Walter Chesser.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Chesser, sons, Troy Lee Chesser of Mt. Washington, Lee (Deborah) Chesser, both of Mt. Washington, his sister-in-law, Joann (Chris) Perkins of Louisville, 3 grandchildren, Alexis Chesser, Landon Chesser and Skylar Hopkins, nieces and nephews, Brooke and Timberly as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Bluford Chesser, Jr. will be 11:00 am Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Bro. Jonathan Fugate will officiate. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00-8:00 pm. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements.
