Mr. Thomas Lamar "Judge" Harris, 93, passed away on November 28, 2021. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11 am in the First Christian Church in Sandersville with burial to follow in Washington Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Harris was a native of Johnson County and a graduate of Young Harris and The Teachers College which is now Georgia Southern University. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Elizabeth McCoy Harris, and parents, Thomas Lamar Harris and Leila Mae Lawrence Harris. He spent lots of time with his father at the Courthouse and became affectionately know as little "Judge". He was retired from the Postal Service and was a Veteran of the US Air Force and Marine Corps.
He is survived by sisters in law.
