A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 5, at 3:00 PM at Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetery, Jayess, MS. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Bob loved his family, especially his two granddaughters who were his "world." He was a hard worker and provider; he was employed by Trans-Ocean for many years. After retiring from off-shore he worked for Turner Industries; he also worked as a carpenter for North Shore Companies.
He is survived by his two daughters Yetta Monique Wood and Megan Marie Wood, and his two precious granddaughters Jaliyah "JuJu" Marie and Gabrielle "Gabby" Victoria-Ann all of Jayess, MS. He also leaves behind his siblings Peggy Lindsay (Carl) of Modoc, IN; Vickie Newton of Chattanooga, TN; Sheila Wayman (Rick) of Dunkirk, IN; and his sisters-in-law Harriet Robbins, Joan Burt (Harold), Yetta England (Jimmy) all of Jayess, as well as a brother-in-law Champ Caul (Tami) of Long Beach, MS, along with nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Caul Wood, his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Harry and Mildred Caul, as well as his two brothers Larry Oren Wood and Jeffery Lee Wood, and one sister Linda Sue Batt. He was also preceded by a brother-in-law Harold Caul.
