Burial was in Mansfield Cemetery. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Mansfield was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hammer was born Nov 8, 1960, s/o Rolland Lee "Ron" Hammer and Barbara A. Marvin Hammer. He married Traci Dunaway July 23, 1989 in Mansfield. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Steven David, and a daughter, Stephanie Lynn, both at home; father and stepmother, Ron and Joanna Hammer, Mahomet; mother, Barbara Hammer, Mansfield; brothers: Michael L. and Roy Dale, both of Mansfield; grandparents: Rolland Dean and Dorothy Hammer, Mansfield; great-grandparents: Rolland James and Myrtle Hammer of Corning, OH, and Goldie Kenison, New Lexington OH. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
Mr. Hammer was a member of Roofers Local 97 and was employed by J&P Roofing Company, Mansfield, for the past 11 years.
