Gary Dean White, a dedicated husband, brother, father, and grandfather, left our world to be with the Lord on November 24, 2021. He was 71 years old.

The eldest son of JW and Ernestine White was born on December 14, 1949. A lifelong resident of Aurora, Missouri, Gary followed his love for agriculture by working most of his life in the poultry industry. He also proudly served 20 years in the Missouri Army National Guard.

Gary appreciated living a simple life at his home in the country. He was generally a quiet man, except when one of the home teams, the Aurora Houn' Dawgs, Missouri Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, or Kansas City Chiefs, made a big play. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marionville, where he built close friendships with members of his Sunday School class.

Gary is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sherry, and his younger brother, Steve. He raised four sons who are following his example of character, Travis, Mike, Derek, and Kevin. He loved all five of his grandkids, Brooke, Hannah, Olivia, Jackson, and Evan, beyond words.

Visitation ending with a Celebration of Life service will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one of two local programs. Kids of Christmas is an annual program that provides gifts for children in need in the Aurora area (Freedom Bank, Aurora, MO). The Dawggie Bag Backpack Program provides weekend meals for school-aged kids in need in the Aurora community (Holy Trinity Catholic Church, PO Box 533, Aurora, MO 65605).
