JOHN THOMAS FARMER

John T. "Jack" Farmer, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born in Longview, Texas on August 16, 1932, to Eunice and Earl Farmer, Sr. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Forest Park East Cemetery.

After graduating from Byrd High School, Jack attended Louisiana State University; however his college education was cut short when he was drafted by the US Army in July of 1953. Jack was a crypto during the Korean War. After service he began his career in floral design. On November 12, 1966, Jack married Francis Merle Denby. He became a business owner and operator with Jack Farmer Florest and served the Shreveport and Bossier Communities for over 43 years before retiring in 2018. His passion were flower gardening his dogs and most importantly his family.

Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Eunice and Earl Farmer, Sr,
