Mary Ellen McBride of Holt, MI and formerly of Dimondale passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the age of 75.
Mary was born on December 4, 1945 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Roy and Dora (Walje) McBride.
She was raised in Dimondale where she attended the Hinkley County School until the sixth grade.
Mary graduated from Eaton Rapids High School class of 1964. She worked as a waitress all her life starting at Hazels in Dimondale and then Don's Windmill Truck Stop and a short period at Flap Jack in Lansing.
She loved to shop and go out to dinner with friends, she also enjoyed reading a good book and working on puzzles.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Neola McBride.

She is survived by her brother, Richard McBride; cousin, Mildred Wright and beloved cat, Sassi.

No services are scheduled at this time.
She will be laid to rest next to her parents in Dimondale Cemetery; a graveside service will be held at that time.
