Hattie was a devoted member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of God in Jeffersonville and enjoyed doing the work of God more than anything else. She was a faithful prayer warrior, missionary, and evangelist who enjoyed praying for people. She will be dearly missed by many, especially her family.
Along with her parents, Hattie is preceded in death by her husband, William V. Smith, Sr.; children, JoAnn Peart and William V. Smith, Jr.; siblings, Anna Stroman, Marion Barrett, and William Barrett.
Hattie is survived by her children, Randall Moran, Patricia Smith, Tawanda Smith, and Phyllis Smith; siblings, Louise Mixon, Carolyn Barrett, and Sylvester Barrett; 13 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021. Her Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery
