Funeral Services for Thomas (Tommy) E. Griffith will be at 11am Friday, December 3, 2021 with visitation beginning at 10am at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Bro. Earl Tucker will be officiating. Burial to follow at Mable Grove Cemetery. Thomas (Tommy) Edward Griffith, 58, of Anniston went home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2021 after a long battle with heart disease.
Left to cherish are his brothers, Mike Griffith (Bobbi); Bill Griffith (Leann); niece Audrey Barnhill (Brent); nephews Daryl Pickette (Amber); Kaelin Griffith (Becky); Josh Griffith (Melissa); Matt Griffith and Mark Griffith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Virginia Griffith: sister Ginny Griffith-Ponder: brother Danny Childs and his loyal dog Sheba.
Tommy graduated from Weaver High School in 1981 where he played football, the game he loved. He was a long time resident of Anniston where he owned and operated Tommy Griffith Automobile Repair for over 30 years. He was widely known in the community for the quality of his work and willingness to help those needing repair work any time of the day or night. Tommy was devoted to his business and made many friends over the years. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the customers he served.
